SETTING UP

  1. The unit may be set up right on the grass but it must never be used on a hard surface (i.e. parking lot, street, etc.) without underpadding. Green Astro Turf or indoor/outdoor carpet is recommended. Never operate the unit on a hard surface without underpadding.
  2. Unroll the unit with the flat thicker darker color on the downside of the unit, this is the underside.
  3. Locate the tie down straps on the unit and make sure they are extended ready to be tied to stakes if on grass, or sandbags if you are operating on a hard surface. If securing with stakes it is recommended that stakes are installed in the ground to a minimum depth of 16 inches. If securing with sandbags, it is recommended that a minimum weight of 35 lbs. per sandbag be used.

DO NOT STAKE THE UNIT DOWN UNTIL IT IS INFLATED

DO NOT OPERATE THE PLAY CENTERS IN WINDS EXCEEDING 20 M.P.H.

  1. Be sure the unit is securely tied down. If using sandbags the best idea we have seen so far is to use duffel bags as your sandbags. These handles not only make carrying easier but also serve as excellent tie on points for the tie down straps.
  2. The Play Centers requires 1 blower to inflate the unit. Velcro attach the blower to the air chamber on the side of the play center. The blower should be on high.
  3. The unit should be clean and dry before rolling and packing your unit. A carrying bag has been supplied. It has been designed to permit gentle packing of your unit. Do not stuff or force unit into the bag.

THE BLOWER

The blower a 25' electrical cord. It should be plugged in directly to the power source whenever possible (a wall outlet, or generator). More then 50' of extension cord may reduce the power of the blower. At least a 14 gauge cord is required if an extension cord is used. The lower the gauge numbers the thicker the wire and therefore the more electricity is supplied. Most household/garden extension cords are 16 gauge (DO NOT USE THESE).

CARING FOR YOUR UNIT

The unit can easily be cleaned. Just wipe or lightly scrub using a soft bristle brush and vinyl cleaner. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent before storing. DRY THOROUGHLY BEFORE STORING.
